Аннотация: В своей книге Бруно де Никола изучает развитие статуса женщин в Монгольской империи вплоть до конца Государства Хулагуидов. Исследуя закономерности, проявляющиеся в трансформациях статуса женщин, автор предлагает свой взгляд на эволюцию, проходившую в изначально кочевом обществе в ходе его контактов с преимущественно оседло-мусульманским Ираном.
